SHRI RADHA RANI GAU SEWA TRUST is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Food, Shelter and medical care to Cows. We started our mission as One Gau Rickshaw, Where-in the rickshaw goes door to door and collects food from every home and feed that food to cows in different cow shelters in Najafgarh. After seeing the great response from the people, we started 10 Gau Rickshaws. People really appreciated this idea and From there we got the motivation to start our own Gaushala. We started with four cows in 2015. We registered our trust in January 2016. Our registration no. is 75. The reason we started this movement was - the poor condition of cows in our society. Stray cows can be seen everywhere in India. When these cows do not get food to eat, they eat garbage and die from malnutrition. Apart from this, many violent cows sometimes hit people in streets. We wanted to change this condition and wanted to provide all such cows with a home to stay, food to eat and medical care they deserved. We are a team of highly passionate, motivated and dedicated people willing to provide all the support to this noble cause. In order to motivate others, we time to time organize many cultural events at our cow shelter. By starting this movement, we have been able to bring change in the condition of cows in our area to some extent. But our mission to bring this change in our country and in the entire world, if possible. Now, we have 30+ cows in our shelter and our workers take good care of them every day. To make sure that no plastic or harmful article reaches to cows, our members make surprise visits to our cow shelter. Qualified veterinarians have advised us to feed our cows two times a day. Once in the morning and second in the evening. In the morning cows are served with the dry fodder and in the evening they are served with fresh green fodder. We buy fresh green fodder every day from a nearby shop. Entire floor area in our cow shelter is covered with soil as advised by our veterinarians. At our trust, no one gets paid apart from the workers. We take stray cows, unwell cows and all the other cows which are not taken care of by their owners. We do not compromise when it comes to maintaining the quality of service. We want to serve as many cows as possible without degrading the quality of service. Hence, we urge the people to join hands with us for this noble cause.
